Hiking

There are several short hiking·trails both on our farm, in the valley and surrounding areas. The area is safe to walk through if you take the normal safety precautions. Angel, our Red Doberman loves walking so feel free to take her along. For more info and maps ask reception.

Mountain Biking

There are several well developed mountain biking routes along the upper escarpment areas over looking the lodge. These routes are developed and maintained by Roc n Rope Adventures, so is best to make contact with them for·up-to-date status and maps. Call 013 257 0363· or 082 753 3695···

Abseiling & Rock Climbing

Roc n Rope Adventures in Waterval Boven offers guided abseiling and rock climbing for all levels of experience. Training and equipment is provided. This is a real must for all who enjoy adventure tourism. You can contact Alex or Gustav at 013 257 0363· or 082 753 3695·

Horse Riding

Just 25km from us, BBK Trails offers guided trails. All riding experiences are accommodated. Minimum age is 12 years for the longer and 8 years for the shorter trails. Well-trained horses to suit all riding experiences ensures an adventurous and pleasurable outing . Call Sue at 082 853 3993

Trout Fishing

We do stock the Joubertspruit flowing through our property during the months February to August. Fishing can also be arrange at some of the neighbouring farms. To try your hand at wild fishing for trout or Yellow fish we recommend the Elands River on the NE end of our property.·Rods R70 per day.
